Kingdom Countertops & Cabinetry was founded by Gideon Osei, an immigrant from Ghana, West Africa. First arriving in New York City, he moved to Colorado in 2003 where he worked overnight security shifts.
In Denver, he met he met his future wife, Vanessa, who encouraged him to take a job in sales at a national tile & grout retail chain.
Gideon rapidly rose to the top of all sales people there. He then went on to break several nation-wide company sales records, and countless “Salesperson of the Month” awards hang on his wall.
Gideon’s loyal customers nicknamed him “The King” due to his unique and unwavering attention to their projects (and his hilarious impersonations of classic pop music stars).
In late 2017 Gideon laid the plans for his own “kitchen, bath, and home improvement business.” In addition to his thorough knowledge of the industry, Gideon knew his clients will follow him anywhere because they were already referring their friends to “go see THE KING”…and they would, even from the other side of the city.
A major frustration for kitchen & bath remodeling projects is having to run from store to store. After years of experience and study in his field, Gideon believed he could solve this problem by building a business that offered customers The Complete Solution – a one-stop shop from the beginning to the end.”
Kingdom Countertops & Cabinetry opened summer of 2018 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
And Gideon decided on his motto, “Adorn Your Kingdom, From Start To Finish!” a play on his nickname…
And paired with his vision as a business owner and job creator:
To help build homes people love to live in.
“What positive effects has your business had on your customers and your community? Please provide specific examples.”
KCC has made custom design accessible to any price range. Having custom design and care used to be “reserved” for a privileged echelon of society.
As an employer, we seek to give our staff benefits that are above and beyond the legal requirements. We offer paid time off, paid vacation and paid maternity/paternity leave. We make a profit, but we don’t extort our customers or short our sub-contractors. The construction business can be very shady and cut throat, and we never want to be known for that behavior in the industry.
KCC has helped many clients through absolutely tear-jerking crises, for example, entire homes being flooded.
KCC has supported the recent fireman who passed away at South Metro Fire Department. KCC seeks to help it’s community as a job creator, creating beautiful homes. We are grateful to the wonderful Denver community for their love and support and business. We are here to serve them.
